I’m Tiago Araújo, a software engineer with 9+ years building intelligent systems and modern web applications. I work across the stack: Python, React, and Node.js, with a particular focus on AI/ML and LLM-powered features that solve real problems.

These days I’m a software developer at Chaser (remote, UK), where I architect scalable Node.js systems, tune cloud infrastructure on GCP, and build ML features like payer-rating models and intelligent scheduling. Before that I was CTO and then a developer at Moviik, and earlier did full-stack and C++ desktop work at Displax.

I’m currently deepening the theory side with a postgraduate program in AI/ML at the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs). I hold a bachelor’s in Computer Systems Engineering from IPCA in Barcelos, Portugal.

I like low-ego, inclusive teams that optimize for impact and continuous learning. I have a soft spot for the kind of work that removes complexity rather than adding it.
